Postal services in Korea: mail, parcels, and address basics

0 views 0 Likes 0 CommentsJul 6, 2026
ENG|JP|ZH|KR

How foreign residents can think about Korean addresses, parcels, missed deliveries, and post office services.

Korean addresses can appear in road-name and older land-lot formats. For delivery, include postal code, full road address, building name if useful, unit number, recipient name, and phone number. Post offices handle domestic and international mail, parcels, EMS, and other services. For apartments and officetels, check whether deliveries go to your door, a lobby desk, a parcel locker, or a security office. If you move, update your address across immigration, bank, phone, insurance, school, employer, shopping apps, and subscriptions. Mail forwarding and address changes are separate from legal address reporting.
