2026 Seoul Outdoor Library

The Seoul Outdoor Library turns three central Seoul public spaces into relaxed reading areas: Read at Seoul Plaza, Gwanghwamun Book Yard, and Read at the Clear Stream along Cheonggyecheon. Visitors can browse books and enjoy a city-center “story park” where reading, nature, and culture come together. The outdoor areas generally operate Friday through Sunday, with daytime and evening sessions. The outdoor program does not operate in July and August and is scheduled to resume afterward. Hours and operating days may change because of heat, rain, or other events, so check the official calendar before visiting.
