Late July to early August in Korea — worth it?

|

My travel window has moved to roughly July 23 through early August. I know this can mean heat, humidity, rain, and larger summer crowds, but it is the only period that may work. For anyone who has visited then, did the weather seriously limit your plans? Which indoor activities, evening neighborhoods, or water events made the trip enjoyable?
